Dr Kyriacos Mouyis graduated from the English School Nicosia in 2005 and completed his pre-clinical medical training at the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College) Medical School from 2007-2010. He then transferred to the University of Oxford (New College) Medical School for his clinical studies and graduated in 2013.
He undertook his initial medical training in the Oxford Deanery from 2013 to 2018 working in various hospitals in the region including the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. During this time, he gained experience in general medicine, general surgery and Intensive Care. During this time, he achieved full membership of the Royal College of Physicians London in 2016.
He then commenced his cardiology training as an Academic Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Queen Mary university of London medical school and St Bartholomew’s hospital, London from 2018-2021.
During his training Dr Mouyis received broad general cardiology training at busy central London hospitals such as the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel and the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead and University College Hospital in Euston. He also actively participated in medical student teaching for both Queen Mary and UCL medical schools, administering both bedside and classroom-based teaching sessions.
From 2021-2023 he continued as a subspecialty cardiology trainee in complex cardiac devices and Heart failure at St Bartholomew’s hospital, where he trained in pacemaker and ICD implantation and followup, as well Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT).
He achieved CCT in cardiology in September 2023 and continued working as a fellow in Complex Devices at St Bartholomew’s where he run Complex Cardiac Devices MDT meetings and attended multiple relevant courses and seminars.
In May 2024 Dr Mouyis moved to Cyprus and established his practice at Mouyis Medical Centre and Apollonion Private hospital.

Dr Mouyis is passionate about providing individualized care to patients, tailored to their personal goals whilst keeping in mind all recent guidelines from International Societies.
In his spare time he enjoys exercising such as going to the gym, running, cycling and also following current affairs.
